Orchestra, in an all-Vivaldi program, and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, performing the Bruch Violin Concerto with conductor Thierry Fischer. She also appears, with pianist Christopher Oldfather, on series at the University of Georgia, the Cummer Gallery of Art in Jacksonville, and San Antonio’s eclectic Carver Community Cultural Center, and travels to Russia for debut performances and masterclasses at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. Additionally, her new solo recording with pianist Reiko Uchida, featuring the Previn and Strauss Violin Sonatas, Mozart’s Adagio and Rondo, and Tchaikovsky’s Mélodie, will be released in 2007.

Ms. Kwuon’s 2005-06 season included two U.S. tours as concerto soloist, with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under Charles Dutoit and Matthias Bamert, performing Mozart Violin Concerti, and the Beethoven Violin Concerto with Orchestra Europa under Nayden Todorov, as well as chamber music performances with pianist Vladimir Feltsman and cellist Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt. Ms. Kwuon made her Metropolitan Museum of Art recital debut on the acclaimed Accolades Series in February, 2006, a concert praised by Strings Magazine for its “passion,” “purity” and “intensity.”   ..>
